NAVNET’s is the only national organization that recruits Kenyans to offer voluntary service in Kenya. Our core mandate is to advance volunteerism in Kenya and the wider East Africa region.
We are a non-profit, non-political membership based National Volunteer Centre with the goal of developing responsible citizenship that impacts positively on the national development of Kenya through volunteerism.
Our programs include Advocacy on volunteerism, Developing Volunteer Programs, Building Capacity of organizations that use volunteers in Volunteer Management, Recruitment and Placement of Volunteers.
Our work revolves around Health & HIV/AIDS, Gender, Youth Economic Empowerment, Environment, Climate Change and Education.
NAVNET is a membership organization that admits all persons with an interest in advancing volunteering for development who have necessary knowledge and expertise and are of good standing in society. There are both individual and corporate membership opportunities.
NAVNET is funded entirely through local resources in the form of membership subscriptions, donations, consultancy work and project grants.
