NAVNET can arrange for you how you can offer your skills, time and resources to vulnerable children and marginalized groups on a part-time basis but at your own cost. |
If I don’t have skills can I still volunteer? |
| Yes, you can. NAVNET is a member of Volunteer Involving Organizations (VIO) Network of Kenya and we can always refer you to any that matches with your volunteer needs. |
Are volunteers paid or facilitated to volunteer? |
The main objective of our national volunteering programme is to employ locally available resources by using simple, practical and cost effective means. Our local organizations do not have financial and material resources to pay a volunteer and therefore they do not provide any financial support at the moment neither do NAVNET have financial resources to do so and therefore volunteers are expected to support themselves.
